This was a picture taken this past Christmas Eve. It was the first year in our almost 10 years of marriage that we spent Christmas Eve just our small family. It was definately weird not to have extended family around, but very nice as well. The kids helped me prepare a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner, then off to church.

Lucas wants to be one of the big kids ALL the time! He is so trying to keep up with the others!
