Florida 2008

We had such a great time in Floriday this year. Great weather, great family time, great fun! Here are a few of my favorite memories!

The boys, Matt and I got to fly to Florida this past Spring Break. Luke LOVED watching the planes and I LOVED the short trip down there! Alex of coarse taught Lucas everything he might need to know. Elizabeth left a week earlier with Grandma and Grandpa to soak up more beach time and see her "friends" Katie and Meredith.

This was a picture taken this past Christmas Eve. It was the first year in our almost 10 years of marriage that we spent Christmas Eve just our small family. It was definately weird not to have extended family around, but very nice as well. The kids helped me prepare a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner, then off to church.

Lucas wants to be one of the big kids ALL the time! He is so trying to keep up with the others!

Here is our little gymnist. I thought it would be fun for you all to see how well she is doing. The one thing she is not too shy of. As you can see, she is always making sure I am watching for approval.

What more fun could a 7 year olf have on his day off of school, than watch his sister at gymnastics. He ran around with Lucas instead!

Disney World 2007

We went to Disney World after Thanksgiving. They were all mesmerized by the wicked witch and Snow White, except for Lucas that is. I guess he ate the apple and it put him to sleep.

Well, I am trying this blog out. Should be a great way to keep you all update on the excitement going on in our family. We have had some fun times the last few weeks. Back into the cold of January. I am ready to head back South again!
